After 20 years in the industry it was about time I started the path of giving back to this amazing career choice. Through the R.S training academy I would like to inspire others and pass on my knowledge with passion. I have much experience in attending classes, I have blogged, vlogged and hosted webinars and been a guest speaker with my favourite leading industry brand on a range of industry subjects. I have continually evolved my own business, hosted many events and client workshops/classes. I have been a secret shopper and consultant for business owners. All the courses I offer are accredited by the Professional Guild of beauty. A professional body entrusted by therapists and salons for their insurance, industry knowledge and support.
For entry onto a course you must be a member of the guild. A three month student membership can be obtained for an enrolment fee of £25, which I can arrange for you. The theory element of the course can be completed in your own time through the online portal. Each theory is broken down into modules so you can complete a section at a time finishing with a quiz of your understanding to pass each module. Once all the modules are completed you can then attend the practical assessment. Here is where you visit me and we run through the practical element with you observing and performing the treatment. Ensuring you have fully grasped the practical and putting the theory into practice and relation.
On completion you will be able to perform your treatment. Much practice is required and like most careers experience comes with time and performance, but also by experiencing, so ensure you keep yourself submerged into your new skill as much and as soon as possible.
